Migration Short Histories

Understanding Journeys, Shaping Compassion

Migration is more than a displacement; it is a story of resilience, hope, and belonging.

Dialogue Fosters Migration Short Histories initiative shares brief, light narrative snapshots that reflect on migration; these stories highlight the diversity of journeys that migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers have made, over time and geography.

These brief histories reflect on lived experiences, the cultural transitions, and the social realities that inform contemporary migration. In connecting the historical past and present, these histories prompt empathic engagement and understanding to stimulate dialogues for communities to develop and practice community relationships.

The stories are co-created with migrants, refugees, NGOs, educators, and community partners who are our teachers and share real lived experience and knowledge.
