Conflict & Mediation

Bridging Gaps Through Dialogue and Understanding

At Dialogue Fosters, we believe that meaningful dialogue can change conflict into cooperation. Our Conflict & Mediation programming gives communities, organizations, and people the tools to address and manage differences in a constructive way and to build respect for each other.

Through inclusive communication and culturally aware facilitation, participants learn to identify deeper issues, to rebuild trust, and to find trusted ground.

Whether in workplaces, schools, or communities, we create spaces and opportunities that facilitate open dialogue as a substitute for confrontation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to help you get started

1. Who can participate in the conflict & mediation programs?

The conflict & mediation programs are for people/teams, schools, and organizations interested in supporting communication and resolving conflict contentiously in a group.

We can support a variety of conflicts, from work situations to conflict in the community, or intercultural tension, to conflict in a team.

A neutral person facilitates the conversation. The process starts with participants sharing their practices, identifying issues, and finding common ground.

All mediation sessions are confidential, creating a place for safe communications.

The duration varies based on the situation – from a single session to a series of facilitated meetings – depending on the complexity and needs of the parties involved.
